Oh, I can’t imagine life without popcorn,
No, I can’t imagine having much fun.
So we’re singing it loud, we’re singing it clear,
We’ll always have popcorn here.
Popcorn . . . OOO (or WOW) (3x)
So we’re singing it loud, we’re singing it clear,
We’ll always have popcorn here.
Here’s the routine:
I bring a bag filled with cards with pictures of all kinds of things we can’t live without.
On one side of the outside of the bag is written in big letters: OOO; the other side has WOW.
First I introduce the OOO cheer. I explain that O-O-O spells “ooo.” Then I show them how to make the OOO cheer with their hands. One hand (finger and thumb) makes the first ‘O’, the other hand makes the last ‘O.’ Of course, they’re missing the middle O, and they make that with their mouths. Now we say, “Ooooooo” as we swing our heads from one side to the other.
The WOW cheer is the same except you put three fingers up on each hand.
