5, 4, 3, 2, 1 Shake Exercise

Count “5 4 3 2 1,” shaking one arm in the air; repeat with other arm;
Repeat, shaking one foot; then with other foot.

Repeat all the above, except count 4 3 2 1

Repeat, counting 3 2 1

Repeat, counting 2 1

Repeat, counting 1

Cheer!


Here’s an alternate version which I do to 4 3 2 1 (I skip doing 5 because it would be too long):

Shake one arm for 4 3 2 1, then the other arm likewise, then clap 4x overhead

Stomp one foot 4 3 2 1, stomp the other foot likewise, jump up and down 4x

Breathe in to the count of 4 3 2 1, breathe out likewise.

Repeat the above for 3, 2, 1 (I count more slowly in the breathing part for each of these, so that the breath actually continues to be the same duration)
