I tried an activity that was new to the children who weren’t here last Friday. I separated the children, randomly into to two lines facing each other, then said (for example): “Anyone who has a brother, switch sides” and anyone with a brother would cross over to the other side from where they were. We continued this: “Anyone with a sister, baby, seen a snake, seen a hawk, who is in Stay & Play.” I wasn’t sure how it would go, but they did really well!
Elephant In My Shoe– we had ping pong balls, rocking chairs, ballerinas, milkshakes, and bug bites in our shoes!
