Our long awaited butterflies nestled safely in their chrysalises finally began showing signs of emerging.

After days of observing and drawing and waiting, finally the butterflies start to emerge…
We research.
We reenact.
We gaze.
“They can fly at night.” — Britton
“Yeah, the lights from the cars can show them the way.” — Quinn
(shortly later) Quinn and Britton work together to build the butterflies a house out of the bricks.
“To keep them safe.” — Britton
“Yeah, safe and dry. The drips can only go through here (small opening).” — Quinn
“We need pillows so they can sleep in it.” — Britton
“On another day I’m gonna put paper in here so the butterflies can sleep in it.” — Quinn
Releasing the butterflies…
