Signs of Spring in New England

This week’s warmer weather led to a shift in our play and curiosities.  The frozen icy tundra disappeared and in its place we discovered wood chips, mud, and epic puddles.  We relished in these discoveries and changed our play accordingly.

The sleds turn into boats and surf boards as Louis, Case, and Wes uncover a lake hidden underneath the ice.

Caroline paints with water.  “Look at my dress!  Can you see my girl?”

Nature does nothing uselessly.
