In this moment, we can’t help but wonder about how knowing a child in this intimate way allows us to see beyond their mere activity. Hannah has a strong connection to family, her family. As she draws, a familiar duo appears. A mom or a dad? Although not clear, there is clearly intention of grown-up and child. Hannah does not overly narrate as she draws but reveals in her single utterance, “it’s getting bigger” a wondering…I’m getting older. I’m growing.
