Dear Studio Blue, It was a short week, only two days in Studio Blue, but we certainly fit in many activities and lots of fun!
Dirt and Bugs
We noticed that several of you are fascinated by tiny creatures. We see you looking at the pictures from the field guides in Studio Blue. Last week when we found a tiny spider on the handle of a wagon, you were so curious about it. You worked together to keep it safe.
We wondered if you would enjoy something new to play with in the sensory table. We put in some great dirt that you can break apart in your hands. In the dirt, you found many pretend bugs and spiders.
Geoboards
Clay
Ferdinand, you love to poke one wooden mallet into the clay so that it stands upright. Then you use another wooden mallet to hammer. This is a picture of you doing this a few weeks ago.
We wondered if you would like to try another kind of clay tool to hammer into the clay. You liked this and others wanted to try too.
Taking Care of Baby Dolls
The Hawk
At the very top of this tree, there was a hawk.
The bird flies away!
Some conversations we overheard will be posted soon... Including one we had with the hawk!
We hope you are having fun in the snow! We can enjoy it together on Thursday!
