Inspired by Caroline and others who have been thinking about creatures and their habitats, we have decided to return to thinking about creatures in parts!

Below, Emily gives a brief hello and shares a creature for inspiration!

DO
How will you create a creature three dimensionally?
We will think again of creatures in three parts. This time, instead of a flat creature, we invite you to think of a creature with depth, width and length. A creature that you can observe from all sides, like a sculpture.
Head to the recycling bin and grab a toilet paper or paper towel tube. You can even create your own tube from paper! This could become the body of your creature. Perhaps you can envision it becoming even more!
Grab a stapler, tape, and a glue stick to help you attach. You might even find a hole punch could come in handy!
DRAW
What details will you add with marking tools?
Details help others to see what you were envisioning. Just like when we tell stories to each other and we add details to help each other to understand.
