We managed to find a day that wasn't rainy for May Day!
Beforehand, we learned about the May pole and the song we'd be singing.
We practiced in the cafe courtyard, and afterwards, when we had a meeting and talked about how Nancy would be leading the school on a walk through the sculpture park, she came in to say hello!
While she was with us, she helped us learn how to wrap a pine cone with yarn – much like we had wrapped the ribbons around the May pole, but on a small scale.
And on Wednesday, we celebrated May Day!
(It was a little bit tricky!)
