There’s something magical about cameras. Memories and moments captured and frozen in time. It has been interesting to witness children’s exploration and understanding of this magical tool. The evolution of photography certainly has changed how we see children imitate taking pictures, quickly pulling out their “phones” or their “iPads” to do so.
Studio Blue recently posted a piece titled, “In praise of Loose Parts.” The beauty lies in the possibilities these everyday objects hold in a child’s imagination. To our delight, a creative use of our play space bricks captured a marvelous exchange . Each child bringing their own knowledge and past experiences with the use of cameras to their interaction.
“There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer.”
