Some of the children have been interested in reading The Good Bird. After we all sang Baby Fish, Diane read the book to the class at meeting and then she and Kesler showed how they had acted it out earlier that morning.
Diane is the sad fish and Kesler is the good bird.
The book begins with the bird flying from its tree, into the window of the sad fish.
Noticing how sad the fish is, the bird has an idea!
